| The Palos Orland Swim Association would like to invite swimmers to join our team for the Winter 2010-2011 season. The season will officially begin on September 13th for all new and returning POSA swimmers and will continue until the final conference championship meet in February.
Winter Fees for Age Group Swimmers
$425 per swimmer. This fee will apply to families with one or two swimmers. However, there will be a discount for those families with 3 or more swimmers. The third and subsequent swimmers will receive a $30 discount.
Additional Fees required
$150 Volunteer/Fundraiser commitment fee (Refundable if commitment is met) per family
ISI Registration Fee
$60.00 annual fee per swimmer
Concession Fee
$10 fee per family
High School Swimmers
$130 per swimmer. (Includes $60 ISI fee)
Mandatory Requirement:
Each swimmer is required to pay a $60.00 fee which covers mandatory registration with Illinois Swimming. This provides insurance and athlete registration for each swimmer in the Illinois Swimming Incorporated database. This is an annual fee. This fee MUST be paid before swimmer enters the pool.

Dual Swim Meets
POSA will participate in approximately 6 dual swim meets during the winter swim season. A dual meet is a swim meet held against one of the other teams in our conference division. These meets are held during the week in the evening. All swimmers are eligible to participate at no extra charge by signing up for the meet at practice the week prior. Sign up sheets will be posted. The dual swim meet schedule will be posted on the POSA website in September.
ISI Swim Meets
POSA will participate in approximately 6 ISI Meets during the Winter Season. ISI swim meets offer swimmers of all levels and abilities to compete against swimmers from many different teams around the Chicagoland area. An ISI meet gives all swimmers an opportunity to compete against swimmers their own age and ability. There is a $14 fee per day for each swimmer participating. The ISI schedule will be announced prior to the first day of practice.
By continuing through the registration process you agree that all information entered is true. False information can result in swimmer ejection from the team as will as possible expulsion from ISI.
Payments may be made in full at the time of online registration via credit card or via check (to be paid at the pool the first day swimmer practices, or mailed to P.O. Box 281, Orland Park, IL 60462). If paying by check at the pool or mailing a check, you must still register online, but select the “Pay at the pool” option. Fees include the $150 volunteer/fundraiser fee deposit that will be refunded after the season only if the volunteer/fundraising commitment has been met. If paper check is given for the $150 fee, it will not be cashed unless the commitment has not been met at the end of the season.
Board members will be available with laptops and extra forms to help with walk-in registration the first week of practice.
NO athlete will be allowed to enter practice without a completed online registration receipt and the submitting of the full payment.
