About POSA
The Palos Orland Swim Association (POSA) Eagles Swim Team is a year round competitive age-group swim team for swimmers from age 5 - 18. POSA is offered to residents of School District 230, living within the boundaries of Carl Sandburg High School. POSA is the main feeder program for the High School Swim Team.
POSA Swim seasons are Winter (September - February) and Summer (April-July). POSA competes in the Gold Division of the South Suburban Swim Conference (SSSC). POSA is a United States Swimming Incorporated Swim Club.
POSA practices at the Carl Sandburg High School Aquatic Center. Swimmers are placed in practice groups designed to allow swimmers to excel at their own ability level. At swim meets, swimmers will compete in the following age groups: 6 and under; 8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14, 15-18.
